40 Developmental Assets

Search Institute has identified 40 building blocks of healthy development, known as Developmental Assets, that help young children grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. These assets are divided into categories which include Support, Empowerment, Boundaries & Expectations, Constructive Use of Time, Commitment to Learning, Positive Values, Social Competencies, and Positive Identity.
